Recent Public Projects
RACC (Regional Arts and Culture Council) Artist in Residence at the Porltand Children's Museum Opal School, 2009: 4 Public Banners by 5th Graders which adorn the fron fo the museum entrance.
Umpqua Bank Artist in Residence, 2011: "Build Your Block Challenge Grant"; hired as the Artist in Residence to work with three private pre-schools to head a collaborative public works project with the mission of hlighting the powerful vision and capability of very young children and their work. The participation schools were Rowanberry Pre-School, Alameda Beaumont Childcare, and Just Little People Preschool. Mural title: "The Landscapes of Imagination" of very young children. (6 month project.)
Murals from the "Landscapes of the Imagination of Young Children" on Alberta Street in NE Portland. This was a 7 month long project which explored the concepts of collaboration, community, drawing, painting and the elements of design and story with very young children. Artist ages: 3 to 5 yrs.
